What it does
BotSec (head of security) protects humans and bots from social engineering. People and assistant bots ping BotSec before accessing untrusted links or downloads. BotSec checks email headers, links, and attachments, and triages mail for phishing and spoofing. It is designed for personal use and for protecting the elderly, not for professional or organizational defense. It is not a SOC or compliance product, and "Cleared" is not a safety guarantee. @scardinafineart shared BotSec. It runs when you ask it to, rather than on a timer.
Before you install
The card says a retired FBI cybercrime investigator designed it. That is the sharer's own claim, and we did not verify it. The announcement says the sharer gave it Gmail access, so check what access it asks for before you add it. Open the share link and read the instructions it carries before you add it. @scardinafineart shared this one publicly, and adding it copies the setup into your own account rather than giving you access to theirs.
